Reverse description Christ the Redeemer standing facing in high relief upon a pedestal or platform, depicted in robes with a radiate nimbus, His right hand raised in benediction and left hand holding the Gospels. Mintmaster's initials appear in the exergue below the base. The surrounding legend reads • GLORIA • TIBI • SOLI •, a devotional Latin inscription meaning 'Glory to Thee alone,' a formula characteristic of Venetian coinage of the period. The figure is rendered in the late Gothic Venetian style typical of hammered silver issues of the early sixteenth century.
