Obverse description Enthroned Madonna seated facing, holding the Christ Child before her, both figures rendered in a stylized Baroque manner. The denomination VIII appears in the lower field beneath the Madonna. The circular Latin legend reads ET·REGE·EOS, with the date and mintmaster initials I·A·B incorporated into the inscription.
