The king's effigy is portrayed with a lace cravat visible at the truncation. The circular Latin legend reads FRID·IIII·D·G·REX·DAN·NOR·V·G·, distributed around the periphery. The coin's reeded border frames the design with a neat inner ring separating the legend from the field. |
