Not an ancient coin misattributed to paper — this is a modern commemorative banknote issued in 2018 honoring Publius Ovidius Naso, the Roman poet exiled by Augustus in 8 AD to Tomis on the Black Sea, a sentence he never escaped and whose cause remains genuinely disputed.
