Reverse description Central device depicts two llamas resting at the base of a Bolivian palm tree (palma real), the national emblem of Bolivia, set within an open field. The upper peripheral legend reads REPUBLICA BOLIVIANA flanked by five six-pointed stars on each side. The lower portion of the legend bears the mint mark, assayer initials, denomination indicator, and date: · S · 8S · J · 1827 ·, identifying this as a Potosí Mint issue. A circular Guatemalan counterstamp featuring a radiant sun is applied in incuse form above the central device, partially overlapping the legend. The outer border is milled.
