| Opis rewersu | Central field bears the quartered royal arms of Castile and León — castles and lions in alternating quarters — with a central escutcheon, all surmounted by the royal Spanish crown. The shield is flanked on either side by the Pillars of Hercules, each column resting on a base and wound with a banner, referencing the traditional coinage motif of the Spanish colonial mints. Mint and assayer initials along with the denomination appear within the surrounding legend. The entire composition closely follows the standard colonial pillar-and-arms reverse type, adapted for this emergency provincial issue. |
