Obverse description Laureate and draped bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, rendered in high relief with detailed hair tied at the nape with a ribbon, the drapery falling across the truncation in folds. The effigy occupies the central field, with the date 1813 positioned in the lower exergue. The encircling legend reads FERDIN•VII•DEI•GRATIA, separated by bullet stops, running from lower left to upper right around the periphery within a toothed border.
