| Obverse description | Laureate and draped bust of Ferdinand VII facing right, rendered in the somewhat crude provincial style characteristic of the Durango emergency mint. The royal effigy occupies the central field, with the date 1816 positioned in the lower exergue. A circular legend surrounds the bust, interrupted by a pellet stop, with the monarch's abbreviated name and royal title distributed around the periphery. |
