The mint mark 'Mo' appears at the base of each pillar. The date is placed in the exergue below the waves. The encircling peripheral legend reads VTRAQUE VNUM (Both as One), referencing the unity of the Old and New Worlds under the Spanish Crown, with decorative rosette stops separating the legend elements. |
