| Obverse description | The quartered arms of Castile and León — alternating castles and lions — are displayed on a central shield surmounted by an elaborate royal crown. The escutcheon incorporates the additional quarters of Aragon, Granada, and the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty in the inescutcheon.
