Obverse description Macedonian military helmet shown in profile, rendered in high relief at center, surmounted by a star or cross-shaped crest, with cheekpieces and neck-guard clearly delineated. Flanking the helmet on either side are palm or olive branches extending outward in symmetrical arrangement.
