| Obverse description | Central field features the Honduran coat of arms enclosed within a raised circular border: a triangular pyramid rising from turbulent seas, flanked at its base by two fortified towers, with a radiant sun emerging from an arched opening at the pyramid's center. Above the central circle, two cornucopiae or decorative foliate branches flank a mural crown surmounted by wheat sheaves, with additional fruiting branches visible in the outer field at left and right. The circumferential legend reads MONEDA PROVISIONAL DEL ESTADO DE HONDURAS, separated by a small dot, incuse along the lower arc and in relief along the upper arc within the beaded border. |
