| Obverse description | Overprint 'NYOLC PENGŐ' in red letterpress applied across the centre of the 100,000 Korona note (P#72), which retains its original intaglio-engraved vignette of a young woman's portrait in an oval frame at right, flanked by elaborate guilloche borders and corner numerals '100000'. The underlying note bears the Budapest, 1 May 1923 date and the 'PÉNZÜGYMINISTER' signature inscription, with the overprint serving as the revaluation legend converting the Korona denomination to the new Pengő currency. |
