Reverse description Within a beaded square border, a large crowned shield of Sweden bearing the Three Crowns (Tre Kronor) arranged two over one, surrounded by a decorative mantle or wreath. The date 1562 is divided at the left and right sides of the shield, with '15' to the left and '62' to the right. The overall composition is bold and deeply struck, consistent with hammered klippe technique used at Swedish mints during the reign of Erik XIV.
