Reverse description The reverse displays the quartered royal arms of Spain in cruciform arrangement: castles of Castile and rampant lions of León occupy the four quarters, with a central oval escutcheon bearing the fleurs-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty. Ornate foliate flourishes fill the spaces between the quarters, lending the design an elaborate baroque character. The circular legend 'REY DE LAS ESPAÑAS' surrounds the shield, with the Jubia mint mark 'Jª' appearing at the bottom of the field. A toothed border frames the entire design.
