Reverse description The reverse displays the quartered arms of Castile and León arranged in a cruciform pattern: two castles (upper-left and lower-right) and two rampant lions (upper-right and lower-left), separated by decorative scrollwork. At the centre of the quartered shield is an oval escutcheon bearing the fleur-de-lis of the Bourbon dynasty. Between the quadrants, stylised floral motifs extend outward. The entire composition is encircled by a wreath of laurel and olive branches tied at the base, itself enclosed within a milled dot border.
