| Reverse description | Central field contains a three-line Arabic inscription denoting the Bey Muhammad, the mint city of Tunis, and the denomination of 8 Kharub, all enclosed within a symmetrical wreath of stylized branches tied at the base with a decorative ribbon ornament. The Islamic AH date 1275 appears in Arabic-Indic numerals at the foot of the inscription, just above the wreath tie. The overall layout mirrors the obverse in style, with the legends rendered in Ottoman calligraphic script. A toothed border encircles the design at the rim. |
