The circular legend reads D.G.P.A.DVX.S.A.&.W.C.ASC.D.B.&.S, an abbreviated Latin title denoting the ruler's style and territories. The monogram is rendered in an intricate Baroque style, with intertwined strokes occupying the majority of the coin's face. Small decorative stops punctuate the legend at intervals.
