The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail in the hair and drapery at the truncation. A circular Latin legend surrounds the portrait reading ADOLPHUS.FRID.D.G.REX.SVEC., denoting his title as King of Sweden by the grace of God. The border is defined by fine milled denticles. |
