Obverse description Crudely hammered copper flan bearing an Arabic legend arranged in two registers separated by a horizontal line. The upper register displays the mint name 'Bukhara' (بخارا) in bold, deeply struck Arabic script, while the lower register carries the Hijri date 1335. The strike is characteristically irregular, with the legend partially weak at the periphery due to the hand-hammered technique. The flat, unadorned field shows the typical rough texture associated with Bukharan copper coinage of the late emirate period.
