Obverse description The obverse is that of the underlying 1000 Korona note (P-75), printed in dark brown and orange on a dense guilloche underprint, with the denomination '1000' repeated in each corner and an oval vignette at right bearing a portrait of King Stephen I in crown and robes. The central text panel carries the Hungarian state obligation legend and the date BUDAPEST, 1923. ÉVI JULIUS HÓ 1-ÉN. Two red letterpress overprints transform the note: the numeral '8' above the central panel and the large legend 'NYOLC FILLÉR' below it, restating the revalued denomination in both numeral and word form.

Reverse description The reverse reproduces the standard 1000 Korona design in dark brown and tan, with four large oval guilloche medallions at each corner enclosing geometric cipher motifs, and a central rectangular panel carrying the denomination in five languages against a fine rose guilloche ground. The denomination value '1000' appears prominently at all four corners of the border.
