| Obverse description | The obverse is that of the underlying 1000 Korona note (P-75), printed in dark brown and orange on a dense guilloche underprint, with the denomination '1000' repeated in each corner and an oval vignette at right bearing a portrait of King Stephen I in crown and robes. The central text panel carries the Hungarian state obligation legend and the date BUDAPEST, 1923. ÉVI JULIUS HÓ 1-ÉN. Two red letterpress overprints transform the note: the numeral '8' above the central panel and the large legend 'NYOLC FILLÉR' below it, restating the revalued denomination in both numeral and word form. |
