Obverse description Draped bust of Liberty facing left, wearing a cap inscribed LIBERTAD, her hair dressed in a classical style with a ribbon tied at the nape. The legend REPUBLICA DE COLOMBIA arcs around the upper periphery, with the date 1835 positioned in the exergue below the bust. A prominent circular countermark applied by the Manila Mint is struck over the lower cheek and jaw area of the bust, depicting the crowned royal cypher of Queen Isabella II of Spain (Y·II) flanked by a crowned shield, all within a raised beaded circle. The host coin's field retains its original milled finish, and a fine dentilated border frames the entire design.
