Obverse description Draped bust of King Fernando VI facing right, depicted in a Baroque portrait style with flowing periwig and lace cravat, occupying the central field. The effigy is rendered in high relief with fine detail to the hair and costume. The circular legend surrounds the bust, reading from the lower left, with the mint date 1754 positioned prominently at the base of the design between two rosette stops. The rim is defined by a continuous milled border of fine serrations.
