正面描述	Armored bust of King Carlos III facing right, wearing a cuirass decorated with an eagle gorget and a draped mantle over the left shoulder, with elaborately curled and queued hair. The effigy is rendered in high relief in the portrait style characteristic of early Lima mint milled coinage. The circular legend CAROLUS III D G HISPAN ET IND REX runs around the periphery, with the date 1762 placed in the lower exergual area. A toothed border frames the entire design.
