Obverse description Right-facing draped bust of Fernando VI, rendered in the Baroque style with elaborately curled periwig, armored shoulders with ornate detailing, and a prominent lace cravat visible at the throat. The effigy occupies the majority of the field, with the circumferential Latin legend reading CAROLUS III D G HISPAN ET IND REX separated by rosette stops. The date 1762 appears in the lower portion of the legend, flanked by rosette ornaments, consistent with the Santiago Mint's milled coinage practice of the period.
