Beschrijving voorzijde	Central field displays the early Chilean coat of arms comprising two snow-capped mountains beneath a radiant sun with a human face, flanked by two cornucopiae, the entire device enclosed within a wreath of laurel and oak branches tied at the base. The surrounding legend reads EL ESTADO D CHILE CONSTIT INDEPENDIENTE in Latin characters, distributed around the periphery. The coin is bordered by a continuous beaded inner rim. A small pellet ornament appears at the bottom of the field beneath the wreath. The design reflects the nascent republican iconography adopted by Chile following independence.

The peripheral legend POR LA RAZON • O LA FUERZA • So • 8E • I — incorporating the mint mark, denomination, and assayer initial — runs around the border in Latin script.
