| 背面描述 | The reverse depicts the two patron saints of Salzburg, Saint Rudbertus (Rupert) and Saint Virgilius (Virgil), shown as vested bishops standing facing one another in three-quarter length, each wearing a mitre and cope and holding a crozier. Between them in the lower field is a detailed view of Salzburg Cathedral (the Dom), rendered in perspective with its characteristic domed towers. The figures and architectural vignette are enclosed within a laurel wreath border. The surrounding legend reads: SS : RVDBERTUS ET VIRGILIUS PATRONI SALISBVRGENSES, with the lower portion of the inscription inverted in keeping with the medal alignment of the die. |
