Obverse description Central field depicts a baptismal scene in high relief, showing a robed figure (John the Baptist) baptizing Christ in the river Jordan, with the Holy Spirit represented as a dove descending from above amid radiating rays of divine light. A cross staff is visible to the left of the scene. Surrounding the central imagery, a twelve-line German scriptural inscription fills the field, with biblical references from Matthew 3 and John 1. The outer border carries a continuous circular legend in German, reading the Great Commission from Matthew 28, rendered in bold raised lettering along the milled rim.
