| Obverse description | Finely rendered right-facing draped bust of Amand von Buseck, Prince-Abbot of Fulda, wearing a biretta and richly decorated ecclesiastical robes with elaborate lace collar and vestments. The effigy is portrayed in high relief with considerable sculptural detail in the hair and drapery, characteristic of the baroque engraving style of Johann Nikolaus Dittmar. The surrounding legend reads AMANDVS·D.G·S·R·I·PRINC·ET·ABB·FVLD, identifying the sitter as Amand, by the grace of God, Prince of the Holy Roman Empire and Abbot of Fulda. The inscription is distributed around the outer border of the coin field. |

| Reverse description | Elaborate baroque quartered coat of arms of the Abbey of Fulda, surmounted by a helmet with baroque mantling and three crowns above, the central crest bearing a cross. The shield is divided into four quarters and supported by ornate acanthus-scroll cartouche work. Above the arms, supporters include a griffin and a knight or armored figure flanking the central cross crest. The motto VERITATE·ET·IVSTITIA (Truth and Justice) arcs across the upper field, while the date 1738 and the engraver's initials N·D appear in the lower exergue. |
