Reverse description A high-relief depiction of a koala resting in the fork of a eucalyptus tree, rendered in fine detail with the animal's distinctive fluffy ears, broad nose, and textured fur selectively gilded in pink gold. The koala is shown in a relaxed, semi-recumbent pose, clutching a eucalyptus branch with both forepaws, surrounded by additional eucalyptus foliage in the left field. The legend AUSTRALIAN KOALA arcs along the upper periphery in incuse lettering, with the Perth Mint's P mintmark visible to the left of the central design. Along the lower exergue, the inscription 2021 5OZ 9999 SILVER identifies the date, weight, and fineness. The reverse was engraved by Wade Robinson, whose initials WR appear within the design.
