| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a high-relief depiction of an Australian Black Swan (Cygnus atratus) serenely floating on a textured water surface, its plumage rendered with fine detail characteristic of the Perth Mint's craftsmanship. This issue is identified as the fifth release in the Australian Silver Swan series by the mintmark P5 positioned within the design. The surrounding legend arcs across the upper and lower fields, incorporating the series name, fineness, and weight designation. The composition and artistry emphasise the naturalistic elegance of this iconic Australian species. |

The Swan series launched in 2016 as a direct response to collector demand for a pure silver bullion program anchored to Western Australia's black swan emblem, a symbol the colony adopted after Willem de Vlamingh's 1697 voyage — the first confirmed European sighting of the species. The Perth Mint structured the series with annual design rotations to sustain secondary market interest, a tactic borrowed from the success of the Lunar series.
The 6th portrait of Elizabeth II, by Jody Clark, was introduced across Commonwealth coinage from 2015 onward. This is among the heavier five-ounce issues in the Swan program.
