Reverse description Minerva, helmeted and draped, seated left on a throne, holding a small figure of Victory in her extended right hand and a long sceptre in her left, with her right arm resting on a shield set to her side. Beneath the throne, a prow of a ship (rostrum) and a bound captive are depicted in the exergual area, referencing Roman military triumph. The reverse legend is distributed in the field around the central figure. The composition reflects the standard Domitianic Minerva reverse type, of which four distinct variants are known.
