| Reverse description | Central field features the elaborately interlaced royal cypher of Maharaja Chithira Thirunal Bala Rama Varma II, composed of the conjoined initials BRV rendered in an ornate monogram style, enclosed within a beaded inner circle. The legend 'EIGHT CASH' arcs across the upper portion of the coin in large Latin capital letters, while the Malayalam inscription 'എട്ട് കാശ്' curves along the lower portion. Small floral or rosette ornaments appear at the left and right of the inner circle, flanking the monogram. The entire design is contained within a continuous milled border. |
