| Obverse description | Central device depicts the Charminar (Four Minarets) gateway of Hyderabad, rendered in architectural detail with four minarets flanking the central arch. Within the doorway of the arch appears the Urdu letter 'Ain' (ع), serving as the initial of 'Osman' in reference to the ruling Nizam. Surrounding the gateway, an Urdu legend reads 'Asaf Jah' at the top, 'Bahadur' to the left, and 'Nizam-ul-Mulk' to the right, together constituting the formal title of Mir Usman Ali Khan. The numeral 92—a numerological representation of the name 'Muhammad'—appears above the gateway, while the AH date 1366 is inscribed in the lower field below the structure. |
