Reverse description A displayed double-headed imperial eagle with spread wings dominates the field, each head surmounted by a separate crown and both united beneath a single imperial crown above. At the centre of the eagle's breast is a circular orb bearing a cross, symbolising Holy Roman imperial authority. The surrounding legend in the border carries the abbreviated titles of Emperor Rudolf II, separated by dot stops, rendered in bold Roman lettering within a beaded border.
