| 背面描述 | A stylized figure of a dancing child in traditional Mongolian costume occupies the central field, depicted in dynamic motion with arms raised. Flanking the figure to the left and right are the official logos of UNICEF and the International Year of the Child. Traditional Mongolian script inscriptions appear to either side of the central motif. The curved legend 'INTERNATIONAL YEAR OF THE CHILD' runs along the upper rim, and the denomination '750 Төгрөг' is inscribed along the lower field. The entire design is enclosed within a beaded border. |

The International Year of the Child was declared by the UN General Assembly for 1979, the twentieth anniversary of the Declaration of the Rights of the Child. Mongolia issued commemoratives in both standard and piedfort format — the piedfort being double the normal flan thickness, a French minting tradition revived by several national mints in the late 1970s for the collector market. At 37.59 grams in gold, this piece represents a substantial bullion commitment for a state that was, at the time, almost entirely economically dependent on Soviet patronage.
