| Obverse description | Central design features a snow lion depicted in dynamic pose, rendered in high relief against a dark field, with stylised mountain peaks and a radiant sun in the upper portion of the coin. The entire composition is framed within an ornate cloud-scroll border following the hexagonal outline of the flan. The Devanagari inscription मुन-तानग (Mustang) appears in the lower field. The date २०२४ is inscribed to the left of the lion, accompanied by the engraver's initials ВБ (Vitaly Bakhtinov) below. |

Surrounding the central roundel is an elaborate lotus-petal geometric design with six petals, each containing Nepali/Tibetan symbolic characters or auspicious script elements, all enclosed within the hexagonal coin border decorated with a stylised cloud-scroll motif. The overall composition reflects traditional Himalayan Buddhist decorative iconography. |
