| 背面描述 | The reverse displays the official commemorative logo marking the 750th anniversary of Győr's elevation to royal town status by King Stephen V. A bold circular or structured inscription encircles or accompanies the central anniversary motif, reading 'V. ISTVÁN 750 ÉVE ADOMÁNYOZOTT KIRÁLYI VÁROSI JOGOKAT GYŐRNEK,' commemorating the royal charter granted by the medieval Hungarian king. The city name 'GYŐR' and the anniversary designation '750' are prominently featured within the design. The Budapest mint mark 'LP' or 'BP' also appears in the field. The overall design reflects a modern heraldic aesthetic appropriate to civic commemorative issues. |

Győr received its royal town charter in 1271 from Stephen V, granting it the legal privileges — tax autonomy, a separate judiciary, the right to hold markets — that allowed it to develop as a significant trading hub on the Danube-Rába junction. The city's position made it strategically vital enough that it was seized and held by the Ottomans for three years between 1594 and 1598, one of the few major Hungarian towns retaken without a prolonged siege.
Nickel silver commemoratives of this type were struck for general circulation rather than collector sets, meaning surviving examples in mint state are more the product of luck than scarcity.
