| 正面描述 | The national coat of arms of Bosnia and Herzegovina, depicting a shield charged with a diagonal band and three fleurs-de-lis, supported by two stylised dragons, occupies the upper central field. Below the arms, a detailed depiction of the Old Bridge (Stari Most) of Mostar spans across the lower portion of the design. The circular legend REPUBLIKA BOSNA I HERCEGOVINA runs along the upper periphery in Latin characters. The date 1997 appears in the lower exergual area, flanked by two decorative cross ornaments. |

Bosnia issued this piece in 1997 while still operating under the Dayton Agreement framework, with the convertible mark not yet fully replacing the dinar as the country's functional currency — the dinar series was effectively on its way out, making this one of the final commemorative denominations struck under that monetary system. The Jurassic Park sequel tie-in was part of a broader wave of licensed film commemoratives that national mints worldwide pursued through the 1990s as revenue instruments, particularly attractive to post-conflict states rebuilding institutional finances.
KM#96 is among the last entries in the Bosnian dinar commemorative run before the 1998 currency transition.
