Obverse description The obverse depicts in high relief the scene of Mahatma Gandhi leading the Dandi March, shown walking with a staff at left, followed by a group of marchers across the field. In the upper portion of the field, a colored commemorative logo featuring the numeral '75' incorporating the Ashoka Chakra and the tricolor Indian flag is displayed, with a Devanagari legend below it. The lower section features a colored ribbon in the saffron, white, and green of the Indian national flag, with a blue Ashoka Chakra at center bottom.
