Additional information

Pakistan has issued commemorative and pattern coinage sporadically since the 1970s, but the 75 Rupees denomination has no place in ordinary circulation — it exists solely as a struck piece marking the country's 75th independence anniversary in 2022. Pattern pieces of this type are typically produced in limited quantities by the Pakistan Mint in Lahore and distributed through the State Bank directly, bypassing retail channels entirely. Most reach collectors still in original packaging, which accounts for the near-universal gem condition of surviving examples.
