| Obverse description | The obverse is divided into three vertical panels framed by a bold red and black border. The left and right panels carry woodcut-style vignettes of industrial mining structures — a pithead winding tower at left and a colliery building at right — rendered in fine black line engraving. The central panel bears a geometric chequerboard underprint in black and white with the names of surrounding localities radiating outward, and at its centre a rectangular cartouche in red and black inscribed LANDKREIS / BOCHUM / LANDKREIS with the denomination numeral 75 and Pfg. in red Gothic script. Below the central vignette, a text block in Kurrent script sets out the redemption conditions, dated Bochum, 1. November 1921, followed by a serial number in green. |
