| 裏面の説明 | The reverse is printed in black and green on cream paper within a ruled frame and displays a richly decorated folk-art composition. A central vignette portrays Holstein cattle grazing in a meadow with sailing vessels and a body of water in the background, rendered in an expressive woodcut-style line technique. Ornamental green stylised flower and leaf motifs fill the side borders, and the denomination 75 PF appears in bold decorative numerals at the lower left and right corners; the top centre is occupied by a starburst shield device matching that of the obverse. |

Ellerhoop is a small village in Holstein, and its 1921 Notgeld issue is about as hyperlocal as emergency currency gets — issued through the Amtsbezirk Bevern administrative unit rather than by any banking institution. The inflationary pressure of 1921 had already hollowed out small-denomination coinage from everyday commerce, forcing even minor rural municipalities to fill the gap themselves.
Print runs for village-level Notgeld of this type were typically small, intended for purely local circulation within the immediate community. Many were absorbed by collectors almost immediately upon release, which paradoxically makes circulated examples harder to find than uncirculated ones.
