备注	Kahla is a small town in Thuringia, and in 1921 its chess club issued this 75 Pfennig note as part of the Notgeld wave that swept Germany's organizations, municipalities, and clubs during the postwar inflationary period. The issuer here is genuinely unusual — most Notgeld came from towns, savings banks, or commercial firms, not recreational clubs. A chess club issuing emergency currency is among the odder corners of the genre. J. P. Himmer of Augsburg was a legitimate commercial printer that handled a significant volume of Notgeld commissions during 1920–1922, so the production quality was professional rather than improvised.
