Obverse description At center-left, a vignette of a man standing before a residential house; at lower left, a woman walks accompanied by a young girl. The note is a Notgeld voucher (Gutschein) issued on behalf of the Provinzialverband Westfalen for disabled veterans and families of fallen soldiers, with the serial number and issuing authority text arranged across the face. The overall design is executed in a simple letterpress style typical of provincial emergency currency of the early Weimar period.
