| Obverse description | The obverse is divided vertically into two panels. The left panel, printed in orange-yellow with a diagonal letterpress underprint repeating the phrase 'SICH-REGEN-BRINGT-SEGEN', carries the Fraktur inscription 'Notgeld der Stadt Pößneck' and, at the lower centre, the municipal coat of arms — a turreted shield bearing a rampant black lion on a blue field, flanked by laurel branches — with the printer's imprint 'Kühlborn · Pößneck' below. The right panel has a light blue guilloche underprint with the denomination '75' repeated in teal at each corner; at centre, a lozenge-shaped vignette in olive-green frames a circular black medallion bearing the value '75 Pf' in Gothic script, and below appears the authority inscription 'Magistrat und Gemeinderat:' followed by two manuscript facsimile signatures. |

| Reverse description | The reverse carries a full-width polychrome lithographic vignette of a textile weaving workshop, with two female workers operating large mechanical looms; a golden-yellow border frames the central scene, with octagonal black cartouches bearing '75 Pf' at each corner. A continuous verse in Fraktur script runs along all four borders, extolling Pößneck's flannel production, and a small printer's monogram appears at the lower right corner. |
| Reverse lettering | Ob von der Hand gewebt wie einst, ob mit Maschinen hergestellt – Stets galt und gilt Pößneck's Flanell als beste Ware in der Welt. |
