| Obverse description | The face is divided into three vertical panels enclosed within a scalloped outer border. The left panel contains a patriotic verse in Gothic blackletter script exhorting German men and women to rebuild their nation. The central panel carries a bold Expressionist vignette of a male figure pressing against a crumbling brick wall, rendered in strong black outlines with orange and teal colouring; the right panel bears the denomination '75' in large Gothic numerals beneath the heading 'Gutschein über', with the issuing authority 'Kahla S./S.', issue date 'den 15. Okt. 1921', facsimile signatures of the Bürgermeister and Stadtrat, the expiry notice 'Verfalltag 31. Dez. 1921', and the printer's imprint 'J. P. Himmer Augsburg' at lower left. |
