| 表面の説明 | Dark blue vignette ground dominated by the massive trunk of an oak tree, with scattered gold-yellow leaf or paper fragments drifting across the composition. Two ribbon scrolls on the left carry the denomination and issuer legends, while two further scrolls on the right bear the issue and expiry dates. The denomination numeral '75' appears in each upper corner, each accompanied by a small caricature figure. Two facsimile signature blocks appear at lower right, above the respective office titles, and the serial number is printed in black at the base of the trunk. Printer's imprint 'DRUCK: HIMMER, AUGSBURG.' runs along the bottom margin. |

This composition forms plate no. 1 of the Caricature Series, its satirical allegory referencing the 'Deutsche Merkur' (German Mercury) theme. |
