| Beschrijving voorzijde | The face is divided into three vertical panels enclosed by a teal geometric border with foliate corner ornaments: the central panel carries the Ambergau coat of arms — a winged helm surmounting a quartered shield with baroque mantling — above a serial number in black letterpress, while the flanking yellow panels each bear a stanza of German verse in Gothic blackletter script. The header "Ambergau Notgeld" runs across the top, and the lower margin carries the redemption notice attributing the note to Buchdruckerei Heinrich Rehmann, Bockenem, accompanied by a swastika used as a period decorative ornament. |
