Opschrift voorzijde Gutschein der Stadt Grünberg i. Schl. Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1921 fünfundsiebzig Pfennig
Beschrijving keerzijde Cream-toned note with a decorative border of green offset-printed grapevine and oak-leaf motifs framing the entire reverse. The central vignette is a finely detailed landscape view of Löbtenz, a locality near Grünberg, rendered in dark ink on a pale ground and showing a wooded hillside scene with a timber observation tower to the left and a round medieval-style turret with a dwelling to the right, set amid open fields with a rural path in the foreground. The denomination numeral '75' is printed in large green figures in the upper right corner, and the place name 'Löbtenz' appears as a caption below the scene. The printer's imprint runs along the bottom margin.

Opmerkingen

Grünberg was the center of Silesian wine production — one of the northernmost wine regions in Europe — and the town's notgeld series leaned heavily into that identity. Gebrüder Parcus in Munich produced some of the most technically accomplished municipal emergency currency of the Weimar inflation period, and their work for Grünberg reflects that. The firm handled both design and chromolithographic printing, which gave smaller municipalities access to quality well beyond what local printers could deliver.

Notgeld from Silesian towns has become harder to source since the postwar expulsion of the German population and the region's transfer to Poland as Zielona Góra.
